The 5 Best Zombie Games ever?!
There’s a lot of them out there, so lets find the best Zombie Games ever to be made!
Yet to find that Zombie Game that hits the spot? I feel you. Don’t worry though, I have a list of solutions. I have to say, I’ve played a lot of them and can now report what I feel is the best Zombie games back to you. In no particular order, lets get into them!
Left 4 Dead 1 & 2
Although these games are somewhat old and left 4 dead on consoles… yup, I said it. Valve really hit the spot with Left 4 Dead 1 and somehow made Left 4 Dead 2 just as good, if not better.
It’s fair to say this game has aged well. If you don’t already own Left 4 Dead 1 or 2, you can buy it from G2A or get it even cheaper from Steam during the sales. Xbox one players can buy the game from the Xbox Live Store or play it through the backwards compatibility program.
Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare
Another old-gen title makes the list! Part of me wishes I kept my Xbox 360 so I could revisit this game. Red Dead Undead Nightmare released as a Standalone DLC. The game still portrayed everything that Red Dead stood for. The only difference being the Undead. Undead Nightmare isn’t just a horde mode. It’s packed full of new weapons, zombified horses, new quests and a lot of Undead Brains.
The things I would do for an Undead Nightmare 2, With Red Dead Redemption set to release in Fall 2017. Would they revisit zombies? Unlikely. If people were to make it know, who knows what could happen.
The Last Of Us: Remastered
The Last Of Us hit the PS3 in 2013 and won multiple awards. It was even GamesRadar Game of The Year 2013. This Playstation exclusive may have been the best Zombie game to drop ever. If ever there was a reason to get a Playstation 4, this is it.
The game takes you on a journey with Joel and Ellie through a heavily infected United-States. Unlike other zombie games, there’s other survivors. Will they team up with you in aim to survive together? Will they heck! What version of America would be complete without Gun Crazed humans?
The Last of Us offers many different ways to play, you’re not always going to be going in loud. You’ll have to sneak around enemies that you’re not ready to take just yet while you are out scavenging. That’s not to say the game doesn’t provide enough drama and action, it really does. Just be prepared to get a complete Zombie survival experience.
Buy The Last Of Us Remastered PS4 – £22
Call of Duty Infinite Warfare
Buy Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare – £19.99
State Of Decay 2
While State of Decay 2 is not yet released, it’s fair to say the first game was very fun. Although it did have some issue on the PC side of things. This game is set to release sometime in 2017 on both Xbox One and Windows 10. So all of you steam gamers, you may have to wait a while if you don’t want to use Windows DRM.
Undead Labs has promised a more stable open world environment for players. As well as support for up to 4 Player co-op. State of Decay 2 has the potential to be one of the best zombie games released on a Next-gen console.
Buy State Of Decay 2 – £59.99
It’s a shame that we’ve not had too many new zombie games that can stand their own against older titles such as Left 4 Dead and Undead Nightmare. While the graphics are improving, the actual gameplay, story lines and features don’t seem to be. All of the titles listed above will help you to get your zombie fix, until the next best zombie game comes a long.
